My Lima Bean garden1. Place moistened cotton ball at the bottom of your biodegradable peat cup. Carefully drip (using droplet) a small amount of water over the cup containing the cotton balls. Start with a VERY SMALL amount of water, and add more water a little at a time. The cotton balls should just be moistened not completed saturated with water.
2. Place in LIMA BEAN. Place the bean where it can get enough air and sunlight. Burying may cause the sprout to grow with difficulties, or may kill the struggling plant. 3. Drop in your soil pod. Carefully pour a small amount of water over the cup containing the soil. Make sure the soil is not soupy, but moist to the touch. 4. Place you new LIMA BEAN garden on a shelf or window ledge (make sure the ledge is not too cold). Bean will do better if they are able to get some sun. Beans ask for at least 8 - 10 hours of sunlight per day. 5. Water plants as needed when the soil/cotton balls are dry to the touch. In warm temperatures, water every two days, and in cold temperatures, two times a week. After about three days, the sprouts will germinate. 6. Estimated grown phases. For it to grow the roots, it will take 2-3 days, sometimes a little more. For the leaves, it might take longer, maybe 1-2 weeks or more. 7. Watch every day and take pictures of what you see. |
